In 2017, Calvin Klein and the Andy Warhol Foundation announced a long-term collaboration set to last until 2020. License in hand, the American label has now unveiled its first Calvin Klein Jeans collection to make use of the New York artist's famed pop art.
After signing a four-year contract with the Foundation in 2017, Calvin Klein unveiled three collections infused with Warhol's universe: Ready-to-wear, Underwear and a Home collection. With full access to the artist's archives and works, the brand now turns to its Calvin Klein Jeans label to launch a first line inspired by the New York artist.
The new collection will feature Andy Warhol's face printed on all of its items from jeans, t-shirts and sweatshirts to sneakers, dyed in multiple tones —stark reds, blues, pinks— similar to the artist's signature prints. The capsule will be released for both men and women, and will be made available June 7th on the brand's website as well as in Calvin Klein Jeans stores worldwide.
