Following the steps of the pure luxe Fendi version and a more street version with Supreme, Off-White is now collaborating with Rimowa on a new signature suitcase design.
It was back in September 2017 that Alexandre Arnault, Rimowa's newly appointed CEO, announced an upcoming collaboration with Off-White through his personal Instagram. After 8 months of development, Virgil Abloh, the label's artistic director, now unveiled the sleek transparent case, apparently made of transparent polycarbonate and sporting black handles. An interesting twist, this concept, where everyone has to make sure that he puts inside his suitcase. To limit curiosity, outer covers are offered to cover the luggage.
The new model will be presented on June 20 at the Off-White men's show in Paris and will be available from June 25 in a selection of Rimowa boutiques in Paris, London, New York, Tokyo and on the brand's online store.
